Below, the distribution packages for McStas may be downloaded. Details on the updates of each version may be found  here. Please read here for important information. Please, read the conditions of use for McStas.

McStas is available in source code form for Unix-like systems, as well as precompiled versions for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. The new version has been tested on a variety of platforms, but should compile also for most other Unix systems. An ANSI-C compiler is required; GCC works well. In case of difficulties, contact the McStas administrator so that the problems may be solved in the next version.
